Support IWA

The Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament have offered a quality Catholic education at an affordable price for more than 143 years.  We are incredibly proud that the legacy continues today at Incarnate Word Academy for more young women than ever.

At IWA, our commitment to the school's mission and the mission of the Sisters is evident through our strong scholarship program. Over 43% of our student body relies on some means of financial assistance, whether merit-based or need-based.

Scholarships are an investment in the sustainability of the Academy as well as an enrichment of our students' lives and dreams for the future. As a donor, a gift to our scholarship program is a very personal and rewarding way to reach out to a deserving young woman, offering her excellent education opportunities at IWA, as well as deepening her faith and values.

To make a donation to our Scholarship and Financial Aid Program, contact Carmel Tajonera or 713-227-3637, ext. 104.

Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 Scholarship Fund

To honor her memory and legacy, the Kubin Family has generously set up the Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 Scholarship Fund. Patricia Dossman Kubin '50 attended Incarnate Word Academy and graduated Salutatorian in 1950. Devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, "Pat" went to be with the Lord after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Pat was a natural leader and organizer, spending endless hours volunteering in her children’s neighborhood schools, and also served as president of the Incarnate Word Academy Alumni Association.
