Mission Statement
The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica (SHH) is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and Portuguese and to promote interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies.

Meeting Frequency
SHH meets once a month during flex time

Responsibilities and Activities
SHH offers Spanish tutoring and assists with the coordination of IWA’s Annual International Lunch

Eligibility Requirements 
A. Eligibility of Candidates

  1. All candidates must be academically classified as a junior or senior.

  2. All candidates must be enrolled in Spanish III or Spanish IV.

  3. All candidates must have a 90 overall average of all Spanish class semester grades.

  4. All candidates must have a current quarter grade of 85 in Honors/AP Spanish and a 90 in non-honor

B. Character of Candidates

  1. All candidates must uphold the four pillars of IWA: character, spirituality, values, and academics
  2. All candidates must demonstrate the ability to follow school rules and policies.

Student Dues 
$5.00 one-time initiation fee

Nominal fees may be required for T-shirts
