Parent Portal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

On behalf of the Mother’s Club Board, I would like to extend a special welcome to the class of 2021 and to all families returning to IWA this year!  IWA has a rich history and for 145 years, IWA has been forming our daughters into the confident young leaders of tomorrow.

I am Paula Amsler, Mother’s Club President for the 2017-2018 school year.  I am honored and humbled to serve in this capacity and look forward to getting to know you throughout this up-coming school year.  My daughter, Mary, graduated in the class of 2016 and my daughter, Elise, will be a junior this year.  I have seen such positive changes in the Mother’s Club this past five years and I hope to build on its successes.

The role of the IWA Mother’s Club is to support Incarnate Word Academy’s administration by hosting most of the school’s special events and to encourage a strong parent community.  As a parent of a student at IWA, you are automatically part of the IWA Mother’s Club and I encourage you to explore the different opportunities to become involved in our IWA family.  We have something for everyone and we cannot do what we do without you.  I invite you to explore the IWA website and calendar of events and familiarize yourself with our mission, our events and how you can contribute to our goal of building a dynamic parent community.

We will be hosting a Welcome Parent Coffee on Friday, August 18th   at 8:00 a.m.  You will have the opportunity to ask questions, purchase Spirit Shop items and sign up to help with many events that we have planned for you and your daughter this year.  With your help, we can make this an unforgettable year at IWA!

We are many, coming together for a common goal; to support our daughters as they grow into beautiful Women of the Word.  We are all part of this incredible school and I know we can make a difference as we support our teachers, staff, community and especially our daughters.

“For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.”  Romans 12:4-5.

Blessings,

Paula Amsler

2017-2018 IWA Mothers' Club President
